It’s only ready when our tasters say it is. We judge it by the way it looks. By its aroma. And of course, by the way it tastes. It’s how Jack Daniel himself did it over a century ago. And how we still do it today.

Glendronach 12 Y

APPEARANCE
Deep amber-red gold.

NOSE
Sweet, creamy vanilla, with hints of ginger. Spiced mulled wine and pear.

PALATE
Rich, creamy, silky-smooth. Warm, rich oak and sherry sweetness, full mouth feel, raisins and soft fruits. Spicy with medium length and a dry finish.

CONCLUSION
Long, full and firm, slightly nutty.

Port Askaig 8 Y

The perfect introduction to the Isle of Islay, Port Askaig 8 Year Old has a soft, sweet peaty character balanced to perfection. Ageing in refill American oak allows the character of the spirit to shine through, making for a gentle, smoky, moreish dram.

Dalmore 12 Y

Matured for an initial nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the spirit is then divided for its final flourish. One half remains in the bourbon barrels, while the other is transferred to exclusive 30 year old Gonzalez Byass Matusalem oloroso sherry butts before they are reunited to create this phenomenal whisky!

Nikka Yoichi

Yoichi single malt has pleasant peaty notes and smokiness originating from the traditional direct coal-fired distillation as well as a briny hint delivered by the sea breeze during the aging process.

Nikka Miyagikyo

Single malt whisky van de Miyagikyo distilleerderij, de tweede van Nikka die gebouwd werd in 1969. De oprichter, Masataka Taketsuru, heeft deze site in de bergen gekozen om te cotrasteren met zijn eerste distilleerderij Yoichi, die meer aan de kust gelegen is. Miyagikyo Single Malt is minder gepeat, gerookt dan de Yoichi and werd gerijpt op Mizunara eikenhouten vaten.

Mizunara eikenhout is een unieke houtsoort die typische verfijnde en complexe aroma’s afgeven aan de whisky. Miyagikyo single malt is zacht fruitig, met specieke sherry aroma’s dankzij de laatste rijping op sherry vaten.

Nikka from the barrel

Matured malt whisky and grain whisky are blended and then re-casked (a process known as “marriage”) to create a rich harmony of distinctly different whiskies. “From the Barrel” is bottled directly from re-casked barrels of whisky and features almost the same alcohol percentage. At 51.4% alcohol content, this whisky possesses a distinctive personality characterized by solidity, depth of taste and a richly expanding aroma.

Wolfburn Langskip

On the nose : Aromas of fruit blossom meld with dried apples and light oak. In the background you’ll find traces of raisins and dates mixed with rich fruit cake.

On the palate : Flavours burst onto the palate, rich and sweet, including maple syrup, dark chocolate, almonds and raisins. The finish lingers nicely – hints of vanilla gently fade away with a warming trace of caramel at the end.

On the palate : Floral notes abound, followed by raisins and light spices. Malty flavours open up on the palate, with soft honey sweetness at the finish.

On the palate : Sweet, nutty tones come to the fore, with hints of grapes and honey in the background. Floral flavours abound, enhanced with just a hint of dried fruit and spice.
